Quaint Hotel

Really enjoyed our stay here. I usually do not like the hotels with outside room doors but this hotel had a quaint feeling to it and felt extremely safe with a playground, ball field and library right next door. Lots of dining options without getting into a car.

Best Hotel

We have been going to the Ayres in for the past 35 years. The staff has always been extremely friendly outgoing, and always ready to assist when needed.The nightly cookies add a nice treat to the stay. I would say this is one of the best hotels in the San Diego area. You will not be disappointed.

Clean & Spacious

The room was clean and spacious. The fridge was much appreciated. It was quiet which is interesting since the hotel is right next to the highway. The trees around the hotel made it feel like a cabin in the woods. I would go back again.

The Best Time

Absolutely wonderful stay from start to finish. The facilities were great. The front desk lady that checked us in was so wonderfully helpful. So many dining options that were walk-able and the hotel breakfast was absolutely wonderful. We had the best time and hope to return again soon.
